DSI’s AI for Defense Summit will bring together key leaders across the Department of Defense, military services, federal government, industry, and academia to explore the potential for AI to generate decision advantage and deliver situational awareness to warfighters and decision makers. The 2024 AI for Defense Summit will examine the applications of AI for military operations and strategies to out-innovate adversaries and deliver combat-credible capabilities at speed and scale.

In October 2023, the Biden Administration issued landmark Executive Order 14110 to ensure the United States develops safe, secure, and trustworthy artificial intelligence capabilities.   The EO signals the United States commitment to investments in AI development and the pursuit of AI innovation. Join us at this year’s Summit to learn how to harness American ingenuity to realize the full benefits of AI innovation across the defense and federal government landscape while mitigating its risks and dangers.

The Summit will explore how DoD is increasingly investing resources to accelerate research and development in AI to maintain our technological edge, strengthen deterrence, and generate decision advantage to support superior battlespace awareness, situational awareness, force planning, and precise kill chains.  Attendees will have the chance to hear from key leaders in AI, machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and computer vision across the defense enterprise on recent efforts to equip warfighters with the AI and autonomous technologies they need to operate strategically and tactically across multiple domains.  Further, speakers will shed light on the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI responsibly, safely, ethically, and effectively.

DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits’ content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in AI/ML across military and civilian offices. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.

Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the most complex issues facing the DoD and government as it relates to artificial intelligence and autonomous capabilities.

Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to discover some of the latest technologies, policy considerations, and solutions of interest to the DoD and government for AI, machine learning, and autonomy.

Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. Our town hall format is your opportunity to address our speakers with questions or comments on the current mission.
